Earlier this week, we published our latest SB Nation Reacts survey, sponsored by the folks atFanDuel Sportsbook, and asked Detroit Lions fans to project how many rushing yards Jahmyr Gibbs would have during the 2026 season.

For this survey, we gathered the rushing totals from Gibbs' previous three seasons, created four different ranges of totals, and asked fans to pick which one the Pro Bowl running back would land in this season.

Let's take a look at the results from our survey:

What's interesting about the results of this poll is that not only do 60% of fans expect Gibbs to exceed his career high in rushing yards in a single season, but 92% expect him to smashFanDuel Sportsbook's over/under rushing yards projection of 1,125.5 (-114).

Let's take a look at the comment section of our original article to see fans' explanations for their selections (slightly edited for clarity).

  • PDSX3: Since the words bell cow' were used, I'll go over."
  • LRB57: I think with the reconstruction of the OL, the expected linear improvements from TeSlaa and Jamo, and the return of LaPorta, Gibbs will easily crack 2000 combined yards from scrimmage. 1400-1600 rushing and 600-1000 receiving. It wouldn't surprise me if he joined the 1000/1000 club this year."
  • MoTownSportsTruther: Wouldn't shock me if he becomes the 10th player in NFL history to rush for 2,000."
  • Ajmojo: Gonna use that free FanDuel money now."

As a reminder, this survey was sponsored by the folks over atFanDuel Sportsbook, who currently have the Lions listed as +1700 to win this year's Super Bowl, +850 to win the NFC Championship, and +150 to win the NFC North as the current favorites.

Throughout the year, we ask questions of the most plugged-inDetroit Lionsfans and fans across the country. If you want to receive these surveys by email weekly, you cansign up here.
