Glen Hansard was a singer, songwriter and, to many in the Irish music community, a kind friend. At 4:30 this morning, Glen died while riding his motorcycle in the area around Dublin. His management left a brief message on his website, earlier today:
With broken hearts we announce the passing of Glen Hansard in the early hours of this morning.
