With D'Andre Swift in the final year of his contract and former 7th round steal Kyle Monangai entering year two after an incredibly productive rookie season, I can't help but wonder who Ben Johnson will feed more this season, so I thought I would ask the question here:

Who will lead the Chicago Bears in rushing? 8e1d7d8e616386975823742c4a1fbb27

Let's first take a look at each player's stats from last season.

D'Andre Swift: 1,087 yards on 223 attempts (4.9 ypc) with 9 rushing TDs - 16 games with 16 starts

Kyle Monanagai: 783 yards on 169 attempts (4.6 ypc) with 5 rush TDs - 17 games with 1 start

Together, these two proved to be exceptional complements for the 205 Chicago Bears offense and helped the team rank 3rd league-wide with 2,456 rushing yards behind only the Bills and Ravens. And while the one-two punch of both players certainly led to such a high ranking, it was, and I predict will continue to be Swift's backfield in 2026.

That said, I do not expect the former Georgia Bulldog to return in 2027 as next year's draft is LOADED with talented backs who would complement Monangai equally as well at a lower price and for years to come.

What about you? Share your thoughts in the comments below and let us know if you would want Swift to return in 2027 if he has a season similar to the one he had last year!
