Reunited! Texans sign DE Jadeveon Clowney
It's funny how things work sometimes, isn't it?
The Houston Texans are bringing back a blast from the past, signing defensive end Jadeveon Clowney to a deal to join an already stacked defense.
Back to where it began for Jadeveon Clowney: The former No. 1 overall pick of the #Texans has agreed to terms with Houston, sources tell me and @RapSheet.

Clowney, after being traded to the Seahawks in 2019, has been something akin to a ronin defensive end, making stops with several teams on short-term deals; moving from the Seahawks to the BESFs, the Browns, the Ravens, the Panthers, and, most recently, the Cowboys.
As a Cowboy, Clowney registered 8.5 sacks over 13 games, one shy of his career high. The coaching staff for the Cowboys also had nothing but positive things to say about his time with the Cowboys.
Clowney's addition to a line that already boasts Will Anderson Jr. and Danielle Hunter is going to make the Texans defense that much stronger; a defense that was already a nightmare for other teams to handle just got so much more dangerous.
Welcome home, Clowney.
