Colts Training Camp ‘Day 9’: Quick Hits

On Sunday, the Indianapolis Colts had a consecutive practice in the sweltering early August heat, and won't practice again until next weekend ahead of the team's Thursday night preseason opener on the road against the New England Patriots. Stay cool out there friends, but here are some tidbits:

Turnover filled AM for Daniel Jones & Co.

11 on 11 team redzone period with the first team - Daniel Jones throws one over the middle for Nick Westbrook-Ikhine. A little high. Tipped, picked off by #Colts rookie safety AJ Haulcy.

Rookie RB Seth McGowan Flashes Again

#Colts rookie RB Seth McGowan broke free and scored two plays later, a 25-yard scamper.

However, the offense was only down by 1 and left 33 seconds to work with after the TD.. the football fan in me was internally screaming for him to fall at the 1-yd line. Still a great run! https://t.co/7DskhZKz2t

Richardson throws a rocket to Rookie WR

Anthony Richardson with the 2nd team offense in 11 on 11 2 minute drill. Fires a beauty down the sideline to Deion Burks for a big gain.

Seth McGowan ends the drill with a 20+ yard TD run. Untouched. #Colts

CB Justin Walley participated in position drills but not either of the first set of 11-on-11s or 7-on-7s.
