Pittsburgh Steelers first-round pick Max Iheanachor suffered an upper-body injury during Thursday's practice. The specifics are unknown, but the Arizona State product left Thursday's practice in the early portions dealing with what appeared to be a shoulder/neck injury.

Head coach Mike McCarthy originally said that Monday would be a target date for Iheanachor to return to practice. However, that date will now be pushed back, as Iheanachor will not take the field on Monday. McCarthy adds that there is currently no timetable for a return.

This means that Broderick Jones will be getting more reps in practice, which McCarthy also addressed saying that the former first-round pick has picked things up over the last few practices.

I thought he definitely picked it up the last two practices with more opportunities opened up to him," McCarthy said via Nick Farabaugh.

The Steelers will begin exhibition play this Thursday against the Green Bay Packers at Acrisure Stadium.
