2026 Broncos training camp: Day 9 live updates
Welcome to Day 9 of Denver Broncos training camp.
And just like that, we are closing in on the end of public practices for training camp and that first preseason game is already coming up fast this Friday. The story thus far has been mostly about the defense. We all knew if this team would challenge for a title it would need to be led by defense. However, teams rarely win titles without a balanced offense too. While Denver's offense got some things going last week, they were by and large stymied by the defense.
We'll see if that trend continues this week heading into that first preseason game.

Quite a drill from the RBs. J.K. Dobbins showing ball security pic.twitter.com/m0Nk1ZlbUg

Kage Casey was dominant in his one-on-one reps today, as he mostly has been throughout camp. Exceptionally strong lower body and he is tough to dislodge, but he shows the quickness to get said and defuse a second move, too.

Bo Nix with a 30-yard completion to Pat Bryant in the middle of the field for a big gain during 7on7s

Big catch for Pat Bryant over the middle during 7s from Bo Nix#PattyIce

Will be interesting to see what starters Sean Payton plays in preseason opener Friday at Atlanta (on 9News). With Bo Nix coming off two offseason ankle surgeries, can't imagine he'll play much if any on artificial turf but we'll see. pic.twitter.com/BS0h5yQP9p

This #Broncos camp practice is either about a commitment to run or Sean Payton doesn't want Davis Webb to get carried away.

Nothing to worry about with Bo Nix.
- Zac Stevens (@ZacStevens) August 10, 2026
Bo sprinted to the left, got the edge and took off.
Great run by Bo.
Bo Nix is on a roll:
- Zac Stevens (@ZacStevens) August 10, 2026
Three-straight completions.
First to Pat Bryant for ~10 yards.
Next to Courtland Sutton for 20.
Then hit Bryant again for 20 yards.
A couple of pretty throws for Bo Nix in the most recent team period.
- Aric DiLalla (@AricDiLalla) August 10, 2026
A nice back-shoulder pass to Courtland Sutton and then dropped one in a perfect spot to Troy Franklin.
Both would've resulted in chunk plays.
Echoing what D.J. Jones said last week: Blocking Eyioma Uwazurike has been a chore in this camp.
- Nick Kosmider (@NickKosmider) August 10, 2026
Also, a UDFA who keeps showing flashes: CB Brent Austin.
WR Pat Bryant is in the verge of becoming a league wide problem.

-Nik Bonitto sack
-Jonathon Cooper stopped a screen pass
Jonah Ellis has had at least 2 sacks out here today
