The state department has revoked more than 175,000 visas of foreign nationals who officials say have violated the terms of their visas, committed crimes, called for violence against US citizens".
While a number of these people had been charged with crimes, including sexual assault, human trafficking and felony kidnapping. Others who had their visas revoked had allegedly celebrated" the assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk, according to officials. The state department noted an instance of online comments which included: when fascists die, democrats don't complain" and another who said Kirk died too late".
