Cowboys do something for the first time in almost a decade

The Dallas Cowboys won their first preseason game of the year. It has been almost a decade since that sentence was true.

We spoke in the lead up to Saturday night's preseason opener about how the Cowboys hadn't won the first game of any preseason since 2017. For context that was the Pro Football Hall of Fame Game when Jerry Jones was a part of the HOF class.

The streak is over, though! The Cowboys defeated the Seattle Seahawks on Saturday night and the proverbial clock has now officially been reset.
