New York Giants: The 2025 draft class. There was plenty to like about theGiants' 2025 draft class, with several rookies making an immediate impact.Jaxson Dartearned a 68.1 PFF grade, the second-best mark among rookie quarterbacks, while his 5.2% big-time throw rate led all rookies with at least 100 dropbacks and ranked ninth among all quarterbacks.
Running back Cam Skattebo also impressed. His 80.5 PFF grade led all rookie running backs, and he proved incredibly difficult to bring down, averaging 4.1 yards per carry with 3.04 of those yards coming after contact. On defense, edge defenderAbdul Carterwasted no time making his presence felt. His 84.5 PFF pass-rush grade ranked 10th among all edge defenders, while his 66 pressures ranked 11th at the position during the regular season.

7. Brian Burns, New York Giants. In the midst of a miserable season for the Giants, the seven-year veteran re-established himself as a star with a career-high 16.5 sacks and a pass rush win-rate of 16% that ranked him just outside the top 10. Considering it was a down year for Burns' defensive line mates - defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence had just a half sack and edge rusher Kayvon Thibodeaux played in only 10 games - his explosion was even more surprising.
This year, Burns might have to share the wealth, with Thibodeaux plus young stars Abdul Carter and Arvell Reese (whom the Giants took in the last two first rounds) all figuring to be a part of New York's pass rush. But that's the only thing standing in his way. He showed he's still got the speed and explosiveness that made him so dangerous during his years in Carolina. He hasn't slowed down at all at age 28 and should be a centerpiece of new defensive coordinator Dennard Wilson's scheme.

Giants rookies.First-round linebackerArvell Reese looks like an instant star in New York. The Ohio State product was astandout in training camp,and while his debut wasn't perfect, it had everything you want to see from a top-five pick.
Third-round receiver Malachi Fields is also among theGiants' biggest risersafter catching all three of his targets for 34 yards and this touchdown. The 6-foot-4, 220-pound Fields offers a Tee Higgins-like threat opposite Malik Nabers, and he should be the Giants' WR2 before long. Fantasy managers take note.
