Amusing Puppets Made From Paper Towel Rolls

Artist Troy Picou created several amusing puppets from the cardboard cores of paper towel rolls. The puppets include characters such as Brother Maynard from Monty Python and the Holy Grail. Also included is a bearded bluegrass banjo player who crooned about his existence.

He made me from a paper towel roll.

Cut it up into parts, you know.

Added some elastic so my mouth would open and close.

Took some fabric, felt, and foam. Made my features and stuck them on.

Now I'm here so you can see what a paper towel roll can be.
