He won at Phoenix back in March and then again at Gateway in June. Even though he's at the top of the oddsboard, Newgaren acknowledged that this track can be challenging. "You have to figure out how to get through traffic," he explained earlier this week. "That's always going to be the case on a short oval." One To Watch Even if Alex Palou doesn't end up winning on Saturday or Sunday, he's still in a good position to clinch the INDYCAR championship before the series says goodbye to the Midwest. Bettors eyeing Palou's outright winner's odds might want to note that he has never won at Milwaukee. In 2024, he finished fifth and then 19th at the two races there. In 2025, he finished second when the series went to the track for one race.
