That is what happens when you are 6-foot-6 and anywhere from three to seven inches taller than the other quarterbacks standing next to you."
- Browns adding former Cowboys QB Joe Milton would likely end Shedeur Sanders' time in CLE (Jared Mueller) - Just like Cleveland, the Dallas Cowboys continued their roster juggling on Monday, waiving QB Joe Milton, who many believed would be the team's primary backup to QB Dak Prescott. As our SB Nation's Blogging the Boys noted, Milton's potential departure was eye-opening."
- Cleveland Browns practice squad tracker: 10 official, big Luke Floriea update (Jared Mueller) - While we are monitoring the Cleveland Browns' roster cuts as they get set to name their initial 53-man roster, all eyes will then shift to Monday, when waiver claims are processed, and then teams can start signing players to their 16-man practice squad."
- Browns roster: Claim DB, update on WR Luke Floriea (Jared Mueller) - Did you get the Cleveland Browns initial 53-man roster memorized? Welp, there is a reason we call it the initial" roster over and over again because things change quickly. On Sunday, the Browns waived and released a number of players, including WR Luke Floriea."
- Browns QB room: Decisions around the 4 QBs are and will be complicated (Abby Muller) - Heading into the NFL season, most teams will carry two quarterbacks on their 53-man roster, with a third on the practice squad who can be called up when needed. With a limited number of roster spots available, teams have to balance their needs across every position group. This is why it is such an interesting choice for the Cleveland Browns to choose to keep four quarterbacks in their orbit. Dillon Gabriel was put on the IR with a back injury, while Deshaun Watson, Shedeur Sanders, and Taylen Green have all made the initial 53-man roster."
- Browns roster comparison: 2026 initial 53-man roster versus the 2025 version (Jared Mueller) - The more things change, the more they stay the same... that has been true for the Cleveland Browns for quite a few seasons, but not anymore. Now, every year since GM Andrew Berry took over the team in 2020, the Browns roster has seen some changes here and there, but the massive overhaul that started in 2025 has taken another step ahead in 2026."

Rookie quarterback Taylen Green said he didn't know what to expect Sunday during NFL cutdown day. He appeared to be on the bubble as the Browns weighed whether to keep four quarterbacks on the 53-man roster, and went about his day.
- Thank You, Deshaun Watson (The Tilt) - Deshaun Watson had a bad day during a preseason game against the Chicago Bears. As I watched the post-game interview, I kept thinking the same thing. Deshaun just doesn't see it.
- Myles Garrett changing the culture' of Rams, even from sideline (ESPN) - Myles Garrett couldn't take part in the Los Angeles Rams' joint practice with the Dallas Cowboys in mid-August. But he made his presence felt. But while Garrett wasn't practicing, he was standing on the sideline with his new teammates, vocal enough that Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott noticed."
- Aaron Donald, an unrelenting force, makes the superteam Rams feel inevitable (The Athletic) - For so many seasons, Aaron Donald did the impossible while reminding us that he is inevitable.
