Andy Reid helps explains why Dallas Cowboys' latest addition is better than it initially seems - Mauricio Rodriguez, AtoZ SportsThe growth, it's like night and day," Williams said of the strides made by the Cowboys on the defensive side of the ball, and in such a short period of time. Starting in OTAs, and starting the first week of training camp, getting a chance to go against one of the best offenses in battle every single day has helped us tremendously. Cowboys' Camden Brown got his dream roster news in the strangest way - Jason Kandel, The Landry HatReid breaks down new Cowboys RB
Before joining the Cowboys, Demercado spent the offseason with the Chiefs. Speaking to reporters last month, Reid provided his take on the young running back. Here's what one of the most respected offensive minds in football had to say.
I like the pass protection, I like the way he's not going to bounce anything," Reidtold reporters. He sees (the hole), he lowers it, and he hits it in the run game, and I think that's important. And pass routes are pretty good. He's played it. He's got experience."
Camden Brown has been a fan favorite during training camp and the preseason. He did enough to make the 53-man roster, but the way he found out about it was unique.
3 must-win games this Cowboys season - Matthew Holleran, Blogging The BoysCamden Brown learned he made the Cowboys' roster through social media
To be frank, that is a pretty funny (and stress-inducing) way to receive life-changing news. It's the news Brown was obviously waiting for, but I bet he was hoping to hear it under better pretenses.
But given social media helps news spread like wildfire, at least Brown's friends and family let him know so he could get wind of the news in a timely manner.
This isn't on Schottenheimer when the Cowboys were likely more focused on callingthe players who didn't make the rosteras opposed to the ones who did.
The 2026 season is a huge one for the Cowboys as they look to make it back to the playoffs. Here's three games they need to win to make that happen.
It may seem a bit crazy to list a Week 2 matchup as a must-win, but this game absolutely falls into that category for the Cowboys. Dallas opens up the season with two divisional matchups in a row, traveling to New York to take on the Giants in Week 1 before returning home to host the Commanders.
While Dallas has dominated the rivalry with the Giants in recent memory, this matchup will be much more difficult than years past. New York undoubtedly got better this offseason, and emotions will be running high as John Harbaugh makes his debut as the team's new head coach. Dallas is favored and very well could win the game, but there is a real possibility they walk out of New York 0-1.
