The Seattle Seahawks are still on the lookout for talent, always Chasing Edges." Here is their latest tryout list from the VMAC as of Friday's NFL transaction wire.

We've already covered wide receiver Luke Floriea and undrafted rookie tackle Tristan Leigh, but as you can see, the Seahawks are hitting the small school guys pretty hard.

Chandler Brayboy has a killer name, and was also a pretty accomplished WR at Elon with over 2,600 career yards and 19 TDs. The speedy 2025 UDFA ran a 4.47 40-yard dash at his pro-day and spent time on the Jacksonville Jaguars practice squad.

Marcus Sanders Jr had over half of his career receptions at Georgia Southern in 2025, hauling in 50 catches for 797 yards with 5 TDs. Sanders has a career YPC average of 14.3 yards, showing his explosive capability.

Layne Pryor is an intriguing TE, who was previously on the Houston Texans practice squad after an impressive pro day in 2025 for the University of Northern Iowa. He could be a fullback candidate with his testing numbers.

Tight end Layne Pryor recorded the most reps on the bench press at UNI's 2025 pro day with 31. The 6-2, 260-pound All-MVFC Honorable Mention selection recorded a 36.5-inch vertical and a nine-foot-three-inch broad jump before heading outside. On the field, Pryor ran the second-fasted 40 with a 4.60 before a 7.13 three-cone and a 4.5 shuttle.

At the very least, it sure seems like the Seahawks are looking for special teams depth. Seattle returns to practice on Saturday so we might have some news on a signing coming imminently. Keep checking Field Gulls to see if any of these players make their way to the practice squad or active roster.
