The Las Vegas Raiders are preparing to play their first regular-season game of the year, against the Miami Dolphins on Sunday at Allegiant Stadium. Kickoff is set for 1:25 p.m. PT.

Let's take a quick look at the Dolphins:

Record:

The Dolphins are 0-0, of course. They went 7-10 last season and finished third in the AFC East. They are considered a rebuilding team in 2026.

Same boat as Raiders:

Miami, like the Raiders, are starting new eras at head coach and at quarterback in this game. Former Green Bay Packers defensive coordinator Jeff Hafley is Miami's new quarterback. Malik Willis was signed in free agency to be their quarterback.

Last meeting:

The Dolphins beat the Raiders 34-19 in Miami on November, 17, 2024. The Dolphins have won four of the five past meetings between the two teams dating back to 2018. This will be the Dolphins' third game at Allegiant Stadium.
