Kansas City Chiefs cornerback Mansoor Delane (shoulder) and linebacker Cooper McDonald (knee) each left the Week 1 game against the Denver Broncos in the first quarter on Monday, Sept. 14.
Delane, the team's first-round pick in the 2026 NFL Draft with the No. 6 pick overall, had his first NFL interception in the first quarter, setting up a Kansas City touchdown drive. McDonald was in on a half-tackle before he was forced to depart. Both players are considered questionable to return.
