These Lepro Permanent Outdoor Lights Are My Favorite New House Upgrade so Far

Ever since we bought our house, I wanted to install permanent outdoor lights. But eight months later, I still hadn't installed them. My procrastination stemmed from a fear of disappointment: What I wanted was far more than I could pull off on my own and without extra equipment. My house has a beautiful, oversized deck and an awesome gable with a massive window and high peaks, and learning to rent and operate a boom lift was daunting. But recently, setting my fears aside, I decided to get started.

I went with 150 feet of these Lepro outdoor string lights and carved out an afternoon to install them. And while 150 feet isn't enough for my ambitions-I plan to rent that boom lift and add more lights around the deck and the peaks of my house-the lights I installed are absolutely beautiful. I set an automation for the lights to turn on each evening, and I can use the app to change the colors whenever I want, like for Christmas or Halloween.
