Cowboys playoff tracker: What the 1-1 record says about their playoff chances

If you read our playoff tracker from last week, you'll know that the historical playoff rate for 1-1 teams is 43%.

But that's just one way to look at the playoff picture.

ESPN for example uses their Football Power Index to calculate their playoff picture, and they have the Cowboys with a 57% chance of making the playoffs.

Kalshi has the Cowboys' playoff chances slightly lower at 50% right now.

NFL.com on the other hand lists the Cowboys playoff probability at a much more moderate 40%.

So there you have it: playoff probabilities between 40% and 57%, which feels pretty much like where a 1-1 team should be.
