Before the third Sunday of the 2026 regular season kicks off, let's have some fun by taking a look at the lines for the NFL Week 3 games.

You can CLICK HERE for straight up NFL picks without regards to the spread.

My overall record this season is 16-16, which is tied with the collective BGN community at the same mark. We're perfectly average.

Here are suggestions when trying to beat the odds.

NFL WEEK 3 GAMES

CAROLINA PANTHERS (-2.5) at CLEVELAND BROWNS: Don't look now but Bryce Young has been one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL through two games. Deshaun Watson has ... not been that. PICK: Panthers -2.5

Loading...

NEW YORK JETS at DETROIT LIONS (-6.5): The Lions' defense is not in good shape but I don't think the Jets are in strong position to take advantage of it. Detroit is well rested after playing on Thursday in Week 2 and their offense should be able to get score enough to cover the spread. PICK: Lions -6.5

Loading...

NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS at JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS (-2.5): Don't trust the Pats to be able to score enough to win this game. PICK: Jaguars -2.5

Loading...

HOUSTON TEXANS (-1.5) at INDIANAPOLIS COLTS: In the battle of these two 0-2 AFC South teams, the Texans have demonstrated the higher floor while the Colts have demonstrated the higher ceiling. I'm not going to put my faith in Daniel Jones here. PICK: Texans -1.5

Loading...

LOS ANGELES CHARGERS at BUFFALO BILLS (-7.5): Betting on the Bolts to come through would be true sicko stuff. Josh Allen has been on fire. PICK: Bills -7.5

Loading...

KANSAS CITY CHIEFS (-10.5) at MIAMI DOLPHINS: The Chiefs are back. Their offense can score plenty of points. Too easy to fade the Dolphins. PICK: Chiefs -10.5

Loading...

CINCINNATI BENGALS (-3.5) at PITTSBURGH STEELERS: I like the Bengals to win this game by exactly three points. The Steelers cover in a loss. PICK: Steelers +3.5

Loading...

SEATTLE SEAHAWKS (-7.5) at WASHINGTON COMMANDERS: Is Marcus Mariota being slept on? He might be able to make the game competitive? I'm not counting on it. Washington is banged up beyond their quarterback situation; they're missing their top two starting offensive linemen. No reason to bet against the Seahawks' stingy defense. PICK: Seahawks -7.5

Loading...

TENNESSEE TITANS at NEW YORK GIANTS (-2.5): The Giants are playing on short rest but the Titans aren't looking scary. John Harbaugh is a better head coach than Robert Saleh. Jameis Winston will be better than he was on Monday night now that he's had a full week of reps to prepare. PICK: Giants -2.5

Loading...

ARIZONA CARDINALS at SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS (-8.5): Not going to bet against the Niners right now. They're off to a strong start. The Cards' Week 1 was cute and all but they still stink. PICK: 49ers -8.5

Loading...

MINNESOTA VIKINGS (-1.5) at TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS: I think the consensus is too high on the 2-0 Vikings and too low on the 0-2 Bucs. Tampa is going to get on the board here with a win. PICK: Buccaneers +1.5

Loading...

BALTIMORE RAVENS (-3.5) at DALLAS COWBOYS: The Ravens' Week 2 fourth quarter collapse doesn't undo the promise they showed in Week 1 under new offensive coordinator Declan Doyle. Dallas has struggled against mobile quarterbacks, so, expect a big day from Lamar Jackson in a Baltimore win. PICK: Ravens -3.5

Loading...

LAS VEGAS RAIDERS at NEW ORLEANS SAINTS (-3): Fun matchup between two upstarts. I'll lean with the Saints since Kellen Moore is cooking and Tyler Shough has been one of the NFL's better passers early in the season. Even if the Raiders win, not going to regret betting against Kirk Cousins. PICK: Saints -3

Loading...

LOS ANGELES RAMS (-2.5) at DENVER BRONCOS: The Rams should be favored by more here. Bo Nix doesn't look good. The Rams had a rough go in Week 1 but they bounced back well in Week 2. They're going to win this game as well. PICK: Rams -2.5

Loading...

PHILADELPHIA EAGLES (-3.5) at CHICAGO BEARS: The 2-0 Eagles are 0-2 against the spread this season. As of me typing this sentence, the Bears' quarterback situation is still up in the air. The Eagles were 4.5-point road favorites prior to Tyson Bagent returning to practice on Saturday. Prior to that development, I liked the Eagles to beat Case Keenum by a score of 23 to 19. But with Bagent potentially suiting up, I'll give the Bears an extra point to make it 23 to 20. The Eagles stay on brand and refuse to win a game comfortably. PICK: Bears +3.5
