The Commanders have officially placed Jaylin Lane on IR. They did not announce a corresponding move.

The Commanders worked out 3 DBs: CB Marcus Allen, CB Antonio Hamilton and S Jack Henderson.

Hamilton was with the team last season and through training camp.

More notes:
- Terry McLaurin will be re-evaluated on Wednesday
- not sure on signing vet QB yet
- Charles Omenihu still awaiting MRI
- Trey Amos/Deatritch Wise/Jeremy McNichols all will be evaluated for return to play

There's been questions about #Commanders CB Trey Amos. Because he's on IR, he's out a minimum of four (4) games.

He's progressing for sure; as he's posted his progress himself. I anticipate that there will be a public update on a timetable for his return next week; once the...

In other words, immediate return for him in Week 5 is not guaranteed. pic.twitter.com/O4vpQaHVUC

Frustrating subtopic. Chig played 6-7 quarters this season, his time will come. But Blough needs to understand how to generate touches/targets for him. Give and take. https://t.co/ZmS5ueXfSq

Per Spotrac's current 2026 reserve list (IR/PUP/NFI) salary cap charges:

3. Patriots $49.6M (12)

Jayden Daniels is not on the reserve list-he stayed active after the elbow dislocation and is expected to practice fully and start this week vs the Giants. Zero contribution to the $24.3M. Major on-field impact as the franchise QB. Trey Amos is on short-term IR (ankle) at about...

Commanders CB Trey Amos posted this to his IG page with the caption: Get active 23 #Comingsoon"

Many have been saying where is Trey Amos? We haven't seen anything from him! Well here he is. #RaiseHailpic.twitter.com/Ltfl604myy

A quick reminder of what a healthy Trey Amos brings to this secondary. Before the Week 10 injury, the rookie tape was sticky:
8 starts
32 tackles
6 PBUs

Foundational piece for this defense.
