Could 49ers play Las Vegas every season?
(Photo by Ethan Miller/Getty Images) | Getty ImagesThere could potentially be a new wrinkle to upcoming NFL regular-season schedule.
Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones recently hinted the NFL could be considering playing annual games between geographical rivals. Thus, the Dallas Cowboys could play the Houston Texans every season and the New York Giants and New York Jets could play each other annually and etc.
That leads to this question, if the league does adopt that policy could the Las Vegas Raiders and San Francisco 49ers be included?
They of course, were Bay Area rivals decades when the Raiders were in Oakland. The Raiders moved to Las Vegas in 2020. I would be interesting. I would take the league probably wouldn't include the Raiders and 49ers in this rivalry series.
