With our Miami Dolphins facing off against the Cincinnati Bengals tomorrow, I asked the following question this past week:
What are your predictions, bold or otherwise, for the Miami Dolphins' defense and offense in this coming Sunday's game vs. the Cincinnati Bengals? Who do you expect to lead the team in key categories like tackles, tackles for loss, pass breakups, interceptions, defensive touchdowns, etc., on defense, and receiving yards, touchdowns, receptions, rushing production, and first downs, etc., on offense? What are your stat-line projections for our key playmakers this week and/or who will be the team's MVPs on each side of the ball?

Below are some of your thoughts and answers about tomorrow's game-

JUK might lean toward the Phins if both starting WR's were out for the week.

If both Chase and Higgins were out I might pick the dolphins, assuming Higgins plays I'd go with a narrow bengals win.

I do think there is a chance for the offense to have its best performance, but we have to neuter the threat of Lawrence and Mafe. They don't blitz much but assuming we give Brew some help against Lawrence I'm worried if slowik leaves Jackson 1:1 as a result. Mafe isn't Crosby, Boda or Turner but he's too good for Austin in pass pro. Id like to see kacmarek do some chip releases and then if we can create good pockets I think we will exceed our points totals so far

Wildfin22 has the Phins by 3. Love the positivity!

20-17 Dolphins!

Phoenix6, I think, is predicting a Phins victory.

Defense with a pick6 & 4sacks, Offense with 27pts

Dulcich 65yds & a TD, Willis 300yds total - 260air, 40grd - 1TD... Gordon II 100yds 1TD

Rodriguez 1forced fumble, 1intrrception

MVP Robinson & Gordon II

Jptapt wants to know if Miami has finally figured out how to cover tight ends?

They figure out how to cover a tight end?

If they finally get a handle on penalties, they win.

If they don't, they beat themselves.

SabanpickedCulpepper is watching that line!

Vegas has us +6.5 which tells me CHASE IS OUT

With Chase were in the +12 to +14 range

Robert Burstein sees our Phins putting up a fight again, but with similar results.

I think Miami will play hard again for 4qtrs only to be on the losing side again. Even without WR Chase, I can't see Burrow losing to this roster. 13 - 27 Bengals win.

Molly Polly II sees the Bengals winning by two touchdowns

Good matchup between Bengals O and Finz D. Would be sweeeeeeet to see JRod, Johnson or Taffe get a pik 6! Expecting our ST to play well at home. As for offense, Bengals D has issues, just maybe we generate a passing attack.

Bengals 30, Finz 16

NeenerWhacker sees the Phins falling back from where we were last week.

In classic Phins fashion, the Dolphins take a step back right when we gather some hope. Defense can't stop Chase Brown catching passes out of the backfield and multiple turnovers from the offense. Fans' patience will be tested with Hafley and Willis. Not what I want, just what I think will happen.

Bengals 30 - Dolphins 6

FLexile predicts that it all comes together and Miami walks with the win.

This is the week that they put all the pieces together! They stifle Burrow, the Maliks put on a show and they coast to an easy 23-10 victory. The Bengals are notorious for losing to teams that they shouldn't.

MiamiItaliano has Miami losing, just by less if one of the starting WRs is out.

Both Higgins and Chase are practicing this week. If they both play, Burrow is dropping 40 on the Fins' heads. Dolphins probably squirt out another 13 points. If Higgins or Chase is out, maybe the Bengals only get 23 points.

JungleJohn comes in peace!

Bengals fan here. I come in peace so hold onto your rocks. Full strength we win hands down. Higgins is not going to play and Chase hasn't been declared in so we definitely have a busted wing. IMO it will all come down to us being able to pressure on passing downs. The Bengals are fully determined not to take the Dolphins lightly.

Even without Tee and Chase the team has some pretty skilled down roster WRs so don't assume Burrow can't complete passes. Our running game is however pretty suspect and Rodriguez, my personal favorite LB in the draft whom I lobbied for should be able to keep it under control.

Honestly, I don't know too much about the Dolphins as we don't play them often but I am sure you are overdue for a win. But, to be truly honest, I wonder if winning should be a top priority as I understand you have some roster rebuilding to do and a high draft pick has to on the team's radar. But players are players and they truly determine the outcome. I am quite sure they are going to give maximum effort. Win or lose I just hope to go into our bye week without further injury.

Well, that's our selection of predictions for this week. Many of us are fairly optimistic about tomorrow's game against the Bengals, while others expect more of the same. As always, thank you to everyone who took the time to join in and answer our PQOTD. Also remember to join us tomorrow for our live game thread.
