Eagles vs. Jaguars live updates, inactives, where to watch: Trevor Lawrence makes eighth London start with Jags on a hot streak
The Jacksonville Jaguars are back in London for Week 5, playing host as the home team against the Philadelphia Eagles. Kickoff is set for 9:30 a.m. ET at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, airing live on NFL Network.
The Eagles got off to a 2-2 start and have generally underwhelmed this season, with their usually strong run game off to a disappointing start. Saquon Barkley is out in Week 5 after suffering a hamstring injury last week, with his backup Tank Bigsby also out after being placed on IR this week after core muscle surgery. They're also down two of their top receiving weapons, as DeVonta Smith (hamstring) and Dallas Goedert (knee) are set to miss Week 5. The team also traded away OL Cam Jergens this week, while All-Pro right tackle Lane Johnson announced his retirement this week.
Simply put ... Philadelphia has a lot going on heading into this matchup.
The Jaguars continue to look hot under head coach Liam Coen, and playing in what's essentially a home game across the pond, sportsbooks are thinking that momentum will continue with Jacksonville favored by more than a touchdown. It's not just the offense, either, which is clicking for sixth-year quarterback Trevor Lawrence. Their defense has looked good too, forcing a turnover on a league-high 21.6% of drives faced, while allowing a score on just 29.7% of drives faced - the third-lowest rate in the league.
