After opening the 2026 season with a dominating win over the Tennessee Titans, the New York Jets proceeded to lose three straight games before this Sunday's tight win over the Cleveland Browns. The victory brought the Jets record to 2-3 on the season.

This game was about Garrett Wilson and Braelon Allen on offense and David Bailey and a relentless pass rush on defense. Wilson caught 7 passes for 104 yards and a touchdown. Allen rushed for a career high 116 yards and scored the game winning touchdown. Bailey racked up three sacks and the Jets pass rush was all over Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson, recording eight sacks including a game sealing strip sack as time wound down.

The bounce back Jets performance after getting dominated by the Chicago Bears the week before left the Jets with a 2-3 record to start the season. Now the Jets look to get to .500 on the season as they go on the road to take on the New England Patriots next Sunday. After a rough 1-2 start to the season the Patriots have turned things around with consecutive victories over the Buffalo Bills and the Las Vegas Raiders.

Let's take a look at the current odds for this game according to FanDuel Sportsbook. The oddsmakers don't think much of the Jets' chances against the Patriots. The current line has the Jets road underdogs by 7.5 points. The game has an over/under of 44.5 points. On the moneyline the Jets are +300 while the Patriots are -375.

Let's see if the Jets can pull off an upset against the defending AFC champions and put together a winning streak for the first time this season.
