The 0-5 Tennessee Titans are averaging 11.5 points per game. That is historically bad. Paul Kuharsky was on Robby and Rexrode this morning and said that it is in the bottom 2% of 0-5 starts since the merger. This is a new all-time low for this franchise.

It is time to change something on offense. Brian Daboll is trying to keep the offense balanced. On the surface, that makes sense. The best offenses in the league are able to stay on schedule with the run game. It allows you to stay out of obvious passing downs, which makes things easier for the defense. The problem for the Titans is that their run game isn't very good. They aren't staying on schedule and are ending up in a lot of obvious passing downs.

It is time to come up with a different plan of attack. Take the reins off of Cam Ward. Come out with some no-huddle and let him throw the ball around the yard. Look, I understand that is a scary idea. Ward hasn't been good this season, but what is there to lose at this point? They are scoring 11.5 points per game!

Mike Borgonzi spent a lot of money to get Wan'Dale Robinson here and the fourth overall pick on Carnell Tate. The idea there was to add some juice to the passing game. So, Daboll should do something to try to add some juice to the passing game.

It's dumb to say it can't get worse. Ward could come out slinging and throw three picks, and the Titans could score zero points. That's always possible, but the approach they are currently using isn't working. Why not try something different?
