Buccaneers vs. Steelers: Week 6 Initial Injury Report

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers returned to the practice field Wednesday as they prepare for Sunday's Week 6 matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers at Raymond James Stadium.

Tampa Bay's initial injury report featured five players who did not participate in practice, including quarterback Baker Mayfield (right thumb), safety Antoine Winfield Jr. (rib), running back Sean Tucker (quad), and cornerback Ayden Garnes (ankle). Wide receiver Chris Godwin Jr. was also held out, although his absence was designated as a rest day.

Mayfield continues to recover from the thumb injury that has sidelined him for the past two games. Meanwhile, linebacker SirVocea Dennis (ankle/foot) and cornerback Benjamin Morrison (quad) were limited participants.

On a positive note, offensive tackle Tristan Wirfs (knee) and wide receiver David Sills V (hamstring) were full participants.

Pittsburgh also had several notable absences Wednesday, including defensive tackle Keeanu Benton (ankle), cornerback Jalen Ramsey (wrist), and receivers Roman Wilson (finger) and Ben Skowronek (calf). Former Buccaneers cornerback Jamel Dean (ankle) was limited.
