The Seattle Seahawks are taking on the Denver Broncos on Thursday Night Football in a game between the San Francisco 49ers' last two opponents.

The Seahawks are 3-2 after their loss to the 49ers on Sunday, while the Broncos are 3-2 after another uninspiring win, this time on the road over the 0-5 Los Angeles Chargers.

Both offenses have struggled so far compared to their 2025 levels, while the defenses have been good on both sides. Seattle's defense ranks second in EPA allowed per play, while Denver's ranks 8th. Denver will be without Patrick Surtain and Talanoa Hufanga, however, and their defense has been susceptible to the run at times this season, ranking 28th in EPA allowed per rush.

Seattle, however, has had one of the most inefficient rushing attacks in the NFL, which is why we could be in for a physical, low-scoring game on Thursday. Overall, the Broncos are 24th in EPA per play, while the Seahawks are 26th (and 30th in EPA per rush).

For the Seahawks, the offense has instead been funneled through Jaxon Smith-Njigba, who has 49 catches for 583 yards and seven touchdowns through four games. Denver hasn't really gotten going in the air, with quarterback Bo Nix really struggling to start the season.

Perhaps the Broncos can get reignited with Sean Payton at the helm as the playcaller, although that wasn't the case in his first week at the helm on Sunday. Urgency will fall more on the loser of this one, as they'd fall to 3-3 two weeks out of the trade deadline.
