On Friday, the Falcons only ruled one player out, corner C.J. Henderson, who is dealing with a groin injury. Henderson has been playing pretty well this season, and with A.J. Terrell on IR, this is surely a blow to the Falcons already thin corner group. Pass rusher Za'Darius Smith is still recovering from a neck issue he sustained against the New Orleans Saints a few weeks ago, but it's possible he plays this week. His game designation is questionable, but he was able to log a limited practice on Friday.
Additionally, quarterback Michael Penix Jr. will be able to play against the Bears after leaving the Falcons previous game against the Baltimore Ravens with a rib injury.
The Bears have ruled out a several key players: linebacker's TJ Edwards and Keyshawn Elliott, running back Kyle Monangai, and defensive lineman Dayo Odeyingbo. Their starting quarterback Caleb Williams will be making his return from a hamstring injury which has caused him to miss the last few games.
