Are the Dolphins playing today? NFL Week 6 schedule, next game, AFC East standings

The Miami Dolphins have yet to earn a win across the first five weeks of the 2026 NFL season. They won't end their winless drought in Week 6, as they will be one of four NFL teams enjoying the early-season bye.

The Dolphins have looked every part of their 0-5 record to open the 2026 campaign. They are averaging just 14 points per game, second-worst in the NFL ahead of only the also-winless Tennessee Titans (11.6), and have lost their five games by an average of 12.4 points per game.

Miami has seen some of its very young roster flash at times. Backup running back Ollie Gordon II has comported himself particularly well in recent weeks since De'Von Achane's season-ending ACL tear while rookie receiver Caleb Douglas was showing well before an ankle injury sidelined him.

But still, it's hard to imagine the Dolphins being overly competitive in 2026 because of the dearth of proven talent on their roster. That's not to say they will go winless, but Malik Willis - whose 68.4 passer rating ranks dead-last league-wide among 31 qualified quarterbacks - and the offense will need to show signs of growth in order for Miami to be more competitive than it has been to open the season.

Here's what to know about the Dolphins' schedule for the remainder of the 2026 campaign.
