Packers Injury Report: Jordan Love has a back injury, but it’s not serious
(Photo by Kevin Sabitus/Getty Images) | Getty ImagesThe Green Bay Packers held a walkthrough on Wednesday, so they didn't have a full practice by any means, but the only player who was estimated to be a non-participant on their injury report today was receiver Bo Melton (back), who was able to finish the game in Week 6 against the Dallas Cowboys.
The big news of the day was that quarterback Jordan Love (back) was added to the injury report and was listed as an estimated limited participant. After practice, according to ESPN's Rob Demovsky, Love stated that he has a sore back, but that there is no chance" that the injury will keep him sidelined against the Detroit Lions on Sunday.
Along with Love, the following players were also listed as limited on the Packers injury report: offensive lineman Aaron Banks (knee/toe), defensive lineman Anthony Campbell (ankle), cornerback Brandon Cisse (shoulder/neck), receiver Matthew Golden (shoulder), defensive lineman Jordon Riley (Achilles), cornerback Benjamin St-Juste (hamstring), receiver Christian Watson (ankle) and receiver Savion Williams (ankle).
Cisse is the only player in the group who dropped out against the Cowboys and did not return to action. Banks, Riley and St-Juste never suited up in the game to begin with.
On the Lions' end of the injury report, the only player who was listed as anything less than an estimated full participant was cornerback Rock Ya-Sin (limited, hamstring). Detroit didn't have a practice today, in part because they practiced on Tuesday coming off their BYE week.
Packers held only what they called a job-through today so practice participations are estimated, but only one DNP today.
