That's right, the Philadelphia Eagles actually play a football game this week.
It was easy to forget given all the off-field chaos surrounding this team.
The Eagles are 4.5-point home underdogs to the Dallas Cowboys on Monday Night Football.
In normal times, this would be a much-anticipated NFC East matchup. But it doesn't feel like there's a lot of juice for this matchup. It appears this Eagles season might be lost. Cowboys fans are finding it hard to take their team seriously as well.

Nevertheless, it's an important game in terms of division standings. The winner of this one will move to second place, potentially just half a game back of first place if the New York Giants lose as 10.5-point road underdogs to the Houston Texans.
While I'm not feeling very optimistic about the Eagles' 2026 outlook on the whole, I do think they're going to win this game.
Here's why:
- The coaching staff just might realize they need to rely on more shotgun looks after seeing Tanner McKee have some success with that in Week 6.
- Saquon Barkley seems to be coming back. That could be a big boost for the run game.
- The Cowboys' defense is really bad! Dallas ranks 32nd in DVOA, 32nd in yards per play, 31st in EPA per play, and 29th in success rate. If there's ever a week for this moribund Eagles offense to do something, it could be this one.
- Vic Fangio's defense has been far from perfect but you feel like they're going to at least keep the game within reach.
Not feeling convinced? I don't blame you. But just call it a feeling.
For the first time in the Nick Sirianni era, the Eagles will get a win as home dogs.
What say you?
