Bengals News: Ja’Marr Chase Injury Watch

The Cincinnati Bengals are gearing up for their Week 8 game against the Tennessee Titans. The first injury report wasn't as populated as some of the past few weeks, but when you see Ja'Marr Chase didn't practice, that sets off alarm bells to any fan.
The primary reason for the DNP was rest, but the ankle will certainly be watched closely as this week of practice still goes on. Is it bed enough they he could miss more practice or even just practice on a limited basis?
You wouldn't think when facing a 1-6 team you should feel stressed about having only one of your very talented wide receiver duo, but this has the makings of a real trap game for Cincinnati off the high of scoring 35 unanswered points against the Baltimore Ravens.
Obviously, it would be seriously jumping the gun to hit the panic button on Chase at this point, but it is something everyone that cares about this match up will be watching intently.

Bengals NewsReferee Report: Bengals Look To Snap Losing Streak with White Hat They Know Well
You know, some people may claim that caring too much about which refs call a game may be paranoid. However, with how bad officiating has been around the league, it almost doesn't matter who you get. You just have to hope you aren't the team that gets the penalty called against them that decides the game. Or do what Cincinnati finally decided to do and keep it out of the officials hands by getting a large enough lead.
Shemar Stewart focuses on giving Bengals confidence' to play him
It is never a good sign when a Year 2 First Round pick is a healthy scratch. Sometimes it is to send a message. Maybe that is what this was to a player who is likely a bit behind due to his injuries and holdout. Stewart has some seriously good traits, but that doesn't help much if he can't translate them on the field.
Bengals QB Joe Burrow, Falcons QB Michael Penix highlight Players of the Week
Burrow deserves it for his second half performance against the Ravens. Five straight touchdown possessions that were largely moved through the air is nothing to sneeze at in this league. Not to mention he had some absolutely perfectly placed passes mixed in there.
NFL NewsNFL QB rankings, Week 8: Joe Burrow, Caleb Williams hit season high; Patrick Mahomes slides
Burrow really just needed one of his signature weeks to get near the top of the list. Outside of some untimely turnovers, he has played spectacularly all season. He now only sits behind Josh Allen and Caleb Williams, but it is hard to see him dropping out of Tier 1 anytime soon.
Chargers' Jim Harbaugh: OC Mike McDaniel to retain play-calling duties after bye
It has been such a joy to watch the Los Angeles Chargers bottom out. After their fan base has been quick to criticize Burrow's career and try and prop up Justin Herbert as a victim of circumstance, this has just been a really good time for just about the rest of the AFC.
NFL Power Rankings, Week 8: Vikings claim No. 1 spot; Browns, Falcons nearing top 10
The Bengals inch into the Top 5 here. I am sure if you looked at other power rankings that could be quite different as it was only a one spot increase after they moved up several spots on their bye week. They were leapfrogged by the Seattle Seahawks, but that is fair after they dominated the Kansas City Chiefs. No other AFC North team resides in the Top 10 even.
