Android Wear's interactive watch faces will change its design right from your wrist. On tapping, it reveals more information like weather, fitness, to unread mail, to upcoming meetings and so on. It would be more engaging and interesting too. There are more than 1,500 watch faces as said by Google. Another update on having a built in Google translate on the smartwatches. So we can have bilingual conversations even if we doesn’t have Google Translate on our phone. When you started texting with your friend, just flip your wrist to see the conversations.

Smartwatches are here, but are they here to stay? Given short battery life and - for the moment, limited use cases - Google, Apple, and the others are in a race to build or have built apps that make your smartwatch a must-have item.

i'm not sure how to vote on this; on one hand, its pretty cool, and will likely help alter the future of wearable UX. But on the other hand, the articles come off more as a product advertisement
