Archive Corps, A Volunteer Collective To Help Quickly Save Physical Archives Before They Are Lost

After rescuing over 50,000 manuals from destruction in a Maryland warehouse with a lot of help from volunteers, some of whom responded to a call on Twitter, the tenacious Jason Scott, filmmaker, archiver and good friend of Laughing Squid, has announced his new project Archive Corps, a volunteer collective that helps quickly save physical archives before they are lost.
So, I'm announcing the formation of @archivecorps, a collective to save physical archives and stores when time is of the essence.
