It's one set of principles for fracking and another for renewables








Huw Rowlands (Letters) goes too far when he says: "Anyone who has researched the fracking industry is against it."
His assertion ignores a large body of research into fracking that has been and continues to be undertaken by the geological community, including the Earth sciences departments of several of our finest universities. If Mr Rowlands were to discuss the matter with a cross-section of the geophysicists, hydrologists and environmental scientists who work on this subject he would find a wide range of opinions.
