While riding his motorcycle cross country, a kind-hearted biker named Pat Doody came upon a badly burned orange kitten at a rest stop in Nevada and decided to take him along for the ride back to his home in New Jersey, making stops at various bike rallies along the way. Doody talked about finding "Party Cat" in an interview with RevZilla.
I was coming back from Born Free in California, and we had made it to Nevada. I was at this truck stop getting gas, and this little guy just needed help. He was pretty badly burned, so I picked him up and tucked him inside my vest. We're feeding him regularly now, so he's doing better, even though he's sort of living on the road until we get home.
