Nickelodeon Is Launching ‘The Splat’, A New Channel Possibly Dedicated to Bringing Back Classic 1990s Shows

Nickelodeon is launching "The Splat" which is possibly a new channel dedicated to bringing back classic 1990s shows like their popular NickToons. Several social media accounts for the new brand have been posting Nickelodeon content from the 1990s including a promo video with NickToons characters set to the audio from several old Nickelodeon promos.

Nickelodeon has not confirmed exactly what The Splat is, so it is also possible that it is simply a programming block or an online platform for the shows. But through the use of a hashtag they assure the public that #TheSplatIsComing.
