Music-streaming service with 6.3m subscribers could be valued at a1bn in upcoming Paris IPO
Music-streaming service Deezer is planning to float on the Paris stock exchange by the end of the year in an attempt to keep up with larger, deeper-pocketed rivals such as Apple and Sweden's Spotify.
The company, founded in 2007 in Paris, has 6.3 million subscribers who can listen to a catalogue of 35m songs for a monthly fee of a9.99 (7.20).
