Artist and engineer Bob Partington recently partnered with the YouTube channel Field Day to build the world's slowest Rube Goldberg machine. The contraption sends a golf ball from one place to another using things like a molasses river, melting popsicles, and even growing grass over the course of six weeks from start to finish.

Partington discusses his build process and the experience of working with Field Day in a separate behind-the-scenes video.
