The Philadelphia-based Hog Island Press print shop has created The Great American Novel, a historical map of the United States that features the locations of 42 wonderful classic works of fiction. The hand-drawn, hand-screened map is currently available for pre-order and will ship the week of November 18, 2015.
From Ahab off Nantucket to Ignatius J. Reilly in the Big Easy, Tom Joad fleeing the Dust Bowl to HST entering Bat Country - the map plots many epic landmarks from American literature on one 25 x 19"^3 print.
