Vox has created a beautiful video compilation that highlights the 116 images NASA chose to include on the Golden Record launched into space in 1977 on the Voyager 1 and Voyager 2 missions. The images were intended to provide any intelligent life that found the Voyager crafts with the information necessary to find Earth and understand basic human life.
