Film from a 1946 experiment conducted by the National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics (a predecessor to NASA) shows how a human subject reacts to a series wind blasts building up to 457 MPH. The experiment took place in the wind tunnel of the Langley Research Center, and the film was restored and shared by Jeff Quitney of Quickfound.net.
