A Magical First Look at Benedict Cumberbatch as Marvel Superhero Doctor Strange

Benedict Cumberbatch brings the magic in Entertainment Weekly's first look of him as Marvel's superhero and powerful sorcerer, Doctor Strange. The Sherlock star will play Doctor Strange is the upcoming live-action Marvel film of the same name, which is currently scheduled to release in theaters on November 4th, 2016. The entire collection of images featuring Cumberbatch as Dr. Strange will be packed inside of the January 2016 issue of Entertainment Weekly magazine.
EW's First Look cover shoot with Cumberbatch was one of the very first times the British actor tried on the costume that his character, Doctor Stephen Strange, wears after transforming from a self-centered surgeon to a world-protecting sorcerer. The Sherlock star even used the shoot as something of a research-and-development session for the gesticulations which are part of his character's spell-casting. (read more)
