Ottawa Senators forward Mika Zibanejad was forced to make an early exit from Monday's game against the St. Louis Blues after taking a stick to the face.
Zibanejad was clipped by the stick of Blues forward Jori Lehtera, and immediately skated toward the bench while covering his face.

During the first intermission, the Senators announced the center won't return to the contest.
