Capitals' Holtby saves game, Ovechkin wins it with goal No. 499
The Washington Capitals just summarized their dominant season in one epic sequence.
Braden Holtby robbed Derek Stepan in overtime before Alex Ovechkin went the other way and scored a beauty to lead the Capitals to a 4-3 victory over the New York Rangers on Saturday afternoon.
The goal was Ovechkin's second of the game and the 499th of his career.

Holtby hasn't lost in regulation since Nov. 10, going 19-0-2 over that span.
The Capitals improved to 31-7-3 with the victory, and look to continue their impressive play Sunday against the Ottawa Senators.
