In light of the incredibly impassioned reactions to the popular documentary Making a Murderer and other emotional programming, CollegeHumor describes the action of watching anxiety-inducing Netflix programs for hours with a somewhat apropos term called "Cringe Watching" and gave a number of humorous examples in which such viewing can be had.
Cringe Watching (noun) - spending multiple hours watching a program that makes you feel anxious, uncomfortable and generally depressed about the general state of society
