VIDEO: Kane takes NHL scoring lead thanks to precise Panarin feed
by from on (#10VC1)
Patrick Kane has reclaimed what is rightfully his.
The Chicago Blackhawks forward beat Toronto Maple Leafs goaltender James Reimer twice in the second period on Friday to give himself 27 goals on the season, which pushes him one ahead of Washington Capitals forward Alex Ovechkin for the league lead.
His second goal was all thanks to a fantastic cross-ice feed from rookie Artemi Panarin.
Kane now has a 12-point cushion over Dallas Stars forward Jamie Benn in the Art Ross Trophy chase.
