Los Angeles-based Allen Pan of Sufficiently Advanced recently demonstrated how to create a functional ice sword out of pykrete, a frozen composite material he made from mixing together 14% toilet paper with 86% water. Allen demonstrated the strength of his ice sword by chopping a watermelon in half.
