Jim Kimsey, co-founder of AOL, dies at 76

The web pioneer helped start what would become America Online in the early 1980s, eventually connecting millions to the internet with dial-up

Jim Kimsey, a co-founder of web pioneer AOL, has died of cancer at age 76.

He died Tuesday morning in his home in McLean, Virginia, said his son, Mark Kimsey.
